WAG! WILDERNESS WALK TERMS AND CONDITIONS

The WAG! Wilderness Walk (“Walk”) is a self-scheduled/guided event taking place during the 2020 Labor Day Weekend on any chosen pet-friendly trail located within the Franklin County Metropolitan Parks District (“Venue”).

Assumption of Risk. The Walk is an activity which may include risks such as, but not limited to, falls, interaction with other Walk participants and Venue staff and guests, effects of weather, traffic and the various conditions of the Venue. In consideration of participating in the Walk, I hereby expressly assume all risks, including bodily and personal injury, death, property loss or other damages of any kind arising in any way out of my participation. Although trail maps, rest stops, restrooms and other assistance may be available during the Walk, I am solely responsible for my own health and safety along with the safety of my guest(s) and pet(s). I represent that I am physically fit and able to attend or participate in this Walk along with my guest(s) and pet(s). I hereby for myself, my heirs, executors, administrators, my guest(s) and pet(s) agree not to sue and hereby release and discharge Event Marketing Group, LLC (“EMG”) and Venue from any and all liability, claims, demands and causes of action whatsoever, arising out of my participation in this Walk – whether resulting from the negligence of any of the above or from any other cause. I agree that my assumption of risk and release hereunder shall be as broad and inclusive as is permitted under applicable law.

PARK RULES AND CITY ORDINANCES. The Walk participant agrees to obey all rules of the Venue which hereafter may now be in existence or which hereafter may be made, and to abide by the rules and regulations of Venue, Fire, Health, and such other Departments whose duties embrace applicable regulations.

AMENDMENTS AND INTERPRETATIONS OF RULES AND REGULATIONS. EMG shall have full power to interpret and/or amend these Terms and Conditions in any manner which EMG deems appropriate. The decision of EMG must be accepted as final in any dispute for all situations not covered by these Terms and Conditions. If any portion of these Terms and Conditions are held invalid, the remainder shall continue in full force and effect. I have read, understand and agree to these Terms and Conditions.
